The current building of the water mill on the Aschau in Beedenbostel was built in 1905 after a fire on the previous mill, which was first mentioned in documents in 1649 and was operated full-time until 1920. Today the mill wheel drives an electricity generator for the mill's own use. The rooms also house a café, where you can take a wonderful break.
