Sometimes through the forest, sometimes over open passages - the driveway up from the Penningberg to the Haagalm is not exactly short, but really appealing. Again and again it pays to take a few breaks: In the shady forest you can cool off a bit or you let the sun shine on your fur in a clearing. At the top of the mountain, a refreshment awaits you.

Mountain biking

The Penningberg is certainly not an easy climb. Long and with some steeper sections, it offers a challenge for fit cyclists. You will be rewarded with beautiful views and the typical alpine landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps. Surrounded by imposing mountains. We recommend mountain bikes, or e-bikes for the steep sections. Even fit gravel bikers get their money's worth!
