To really get to the very tip you have to climb up a rock that is at least 10m high. Alpine experience and, above all, sturdy shoes are a basic requirement. The viewpoint just before is also quite nice. As I was only wearing sandals, I didn't want to take any risks and didn't climb up. To get to Capo Carbonara you shouldn't take the left path just from the capo like we did, but the right path. You can recognize this by the horse droppings and the path through the undergrowth that is very worn. The left path leads up over rocks and a difficult, steep, impassable path.
