"The Rackwick Hostel is the perfect location for a remote and peaceful stay in the beautifully scenic Rackwick Valley in the north west of Hoy, much of which is owned by the RSPB. A large variety of birds live and breed here, and it is a great place to see puffins. Rackwick Hostel is close to Rackwick Bay, a sand and boulder strewn beach surrounded by 200m cliffs and heathery hills, and is the ideal starting point for the walking route to the Old Man of Hoy.
