Former salt works with boiling houses. The brine from the springs in Sülze was brought here via wooden tubes. The boiling plants followed the fuel peat.

Today there is an inhabited single farm. There is a lot to discover in and around Sülze when it comes to salt extraction. Old peat bites, former locations of salt works, drainage ditches, a tube dam and some other things can be found for those interested.
