Lourdes Grotto
(Excerpt from the Wäschenbeuren website)
The Wäschenbeuren Way of the Cross, founded in 1892, is very idyllically situated on the side of Schulstrasse with its 14 stations. A gem that is definitely worth a visit. At the end of the sunken road in Schulstrasse, which used to be called Tiefengasse, there is a sizeable Lourdes Grotto hidden in a wood on the right-hand side. Even today, this Lourdes Grotto is a popular place for May devotions in honour of the Mother of God for many devout Beuremers.
