A sculptural bust made of Ukrainian granite is dedicated to the memory of the writer, publicist and educator Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bite (1861-1943), who lived in Joniškėli for 40 years (1864-1901) (sculptor - native Antanas Dimžlys). The monument stands in the center of Joniškėlis, at the intersection of G. Petkevičaitė-Bitė and Vytautas streets. Unveiled in 1994. September 1
