This pumping station serves for the drainage of the central part of Kopački rit and the Danube basin. At the same time, the Tikveš pumping station for high water levels of the Danube discharges water into the existing melioration system and thus supplies water to the Danube pond and irrigates part of the area in the dry season.
From here, a paved road leads to Tikveš, and a gravel path towards Kopači.
