The Adige River rises at an altitude of 1550 meters, about 10 minutes from the village of Reschen. It is the main river of South Tyrol and, at 415 kilometers long, the second-longest river in Italy. It forms the watershed with the Stillebach stream, which flows towards the Inn and the Danube, between the Adriatic and Black Seas.

Hiking

A very beautiful place with a great view of the valley and Lake Reschen. Close to the spring further along the hiking trail are the relics of Mousolinis Alpine Wall.
