Until the end of World War II in 1945, this area belonged to the Pasłęk district (Preußisch Holland) in the administrative district of Królewiec (Königsberg) in the province of East Prussia. At that time, the Kwitajny district in the Pasłęk district (Preußisch Holland) included six communes: Groß Thierbach, Leżnica (Lägs), Mäken, Nauten, Pergusen and Kwitajny.

The former tenement house fell into ruin and remains only a ruin. The collection of family portraits in the palace was partly moved to the Museum of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn after World War II. The development includes an orangery from the mid-19th century, currently in ruins[10], surrounded by a small park and ponds.
