The Bosco di Montalto Regional Reserve is located a few kilometers from Pieve Santo Stefano, in the province of Arezzo, Italy. This reserve protects the entire northern slope of Mount Montalto (1059 metres). The steep slope, which is a western offshoot of the Alpe della Luna ridge, is covered by woods of considerable naturalistic interest. These woods have been preserved to this day thanks to the rugged morphology of the relief.
