At the forest path there is a monument at the place of the tragic death of Count Potocki (the gun accidentally fired while forcing the fence). Until 1938, his grave was here, now exhumed to the family tomb near Kielce. He is not famous for anything, but his father, Tomasz, is an activist for changing the status of peasants, a pioneer of modern economy and a November Uprising member.
