The castle, which is located in the Swabian municipality of Gablingen, was built in the 16th century and was initially owned by the well-known Augsburg noble family Fugger-Babenhausen until 1889. The historic building is divided into a high castle with a steep gable roof and bay windows and a long castle in front. Together with the church of St. Martin, it is located on a hill above the Schmutter and offers a beautiful terraced, walled castle garden. During the work in 2020, the listed castle was restored and renovated according to the original plans.
