The Reghena river originates in a resurgence area between San Vito al Tagliamento and Casarsa, fed by the Acque del Molino canal and the Mussa canal.
It crosses the municipality of San Vito al Tagliamento, with the name of the Sestian river.
Subsequently it takes on the definitive name of Reghena and passes through the municipalities of Sesto al Reghena, Cinto Caomaggiore and Gruaro and then flows into the Lemene from the right, in the surroundings of Portogruaro.
The Reghena is the largest tributary of the Lemene river.
