Corridoni was a revolutionary syndicalist who was active mainly in neighboring Parma and Milan. In 1914, he went from being a convinced anti-militarist to an advocate of Italy's entry into the war on the side of the "land of revolutions", France, against the "powers of the Middle Ages", Germany and Austria-Hungary. He died as a volunteer at the front in 1915 and was subsequently claimed by Mussolini as a martyr for fascism, as well as by the anti-fascists of Parma, who successfully defended their city against the fascists in the summer of 1922.
