The philisopher Wittgenstein was living there for some time. Its pretty steep but there are ropes for savety. Incredible view!

The house is reached via several steep, narrow, and rocky switchbacks equipped with chains. Surefootedness is required here! The house can also be viewed from the inside, which is highly recommended! You can obtain the key for a fee of NOK 100 per person at the Vassbakken campsite or at the Coop supermarket in Skjolden.
