The Comoé river here exits the Comoé National Park. It carries water all year round, and during the rainy season it can rise drastically. Therefore the construction of a bridge would be expensive and large and has not yet been done. For the moment, a manual cable ferry is in operation all day, free of charge. As it expects cars, it may be quicker for pedestrians and cyclists to use a canoe.
