The Baroque Basilica of Our Lady of Frýdek was built in 1740-59. There is a small park with a Stations of the Cross around the church. Between the 7th and the 8th stop there is a beautiful circular chapel called the Roman Chapel.

The basilica is being renovated, the church and the entire area are currently closed. The work should last until the summer of 2026.
