The Vicolo del Bacio has now become a symbol of Vico del Gargano which is known as the "Country of Love": San Valentino is in fact the patron saint of the city who is the protector of lovers but also of citrus groves. In February for the celebrations of the Saint the town is decorated with citrus fruits from the Gargano to relive the ancient traditions.
