The parishioners built the church with great sacrifices, and that was by delivering building materials from the site of the destroyed Dijanovac from hand to hand. They placed themselves within arm's reach, next to each other, and thus added stone by stone and other materials all the way to the construction site. The reason for this may also be that Dijanovac rested in a swampy area where cars probably could not pass.
