The Riggen area forms the ecological connection between the Pannenhoef on the one hand and the Moeren estate, the Oude Buissche Heide and the Kievitsmoeren on the other. This connection zone was created a few years ago on the banks of the Turfvaart and is part of the Brabant Nature Network. This network aims to expand and especially connect the existing nature reserves in Brabant. The area consists of beautiful hayfields and ponds.
