Official mountain bike trail that starts at the Murauer Hut and runs down to Murau. The route is a "shared" trail, which means it is actually a hiking trail that bikers and hikers use at the same time. So you always have to expect hikers along the entire route and should be ready to brake accordingly!
The route is a classic "nature trail"! There are no built ramps or jumps here. It is simply a hiking trail with an incredible number of roots, stones, steps and sometimes steep gradients. Pure nature! Overall, I would classify the route as S2. I was "lucky" that it rained when I visited, which meant that the roots were extremely slippery and you also had to be very careful with the stones at times. In dry weather the trail is definitely a lot easier. However, it is not suitable for beginners.
I had a lot of fun, a fantastic trail! Definitely try it out if you are in the area.
