The Clachan Inn (Oldest Pub in Scotland)

A typical Scottish atmosphere, where you enter a place where no one has their place or rather everyone in their place, we mingle, we discuss, we drink, we have to sing there given the instruments on the walls, we played cards at the same table as a guy who ate and it's normal, people put their glasses on the table that you occupied, you want a drink, you go to the bar to order and pay for everything immediately, the noise of blah blah is loud, no smoke, but people happy to be together... Yes, finding a chair or a stool is almost impossible if you don't pay attention to those who leave, moreover there is waiting on each piece of furniture... I loved it!

A very nice, historic pub with very friendly staff! Recommended!

A wonderful pub in Drymen that calls itself "The Oldest Pub In Scotland". I don't know if it's true, of course, but the pub was licensed in 1734. The food is delicious and of course the ale too. The pub is highly recommended for a stop on the West Highland Way.
