At the edge of the forest is Café Waldkater in the former forester's lodge with beer garden and pavilions in the garden.
Ascent to Barenburg with a view of Calenberger Land Eldagsen and Deister,
At the King's pulpit over the Kleine Deister.
There is a very steep path to the Steinernenden Herz monument with a resting place,
on the pioneer street.
