Hiking

The common whitebeam (Sorbus aria) is a native deciduous tree and was chosen as Tree of the Year 2024. It grows to a height of 15-20 meters when fully grown. This freshly planted specimen is still a long way from that—but everyone starts small.

Hiking

Hopefully someone will take care of the young plants 🌱 so that the tree-lined avenue from 1999 to 2024 will continue to serve as a highlight in the future.
