    From the path along the top of the rocky coast, a great path leads south down to a wonderful, diverse beach bay between impressive rock formations. Depending on the water level, you can walk through rock gates or around individual rock towers or wade in the shallow water. For me, one of the most beautiful beaches and one of the most impressive rocky bays on the entire rocky coast between Portimão and Alvor, which is incredibly interesting overall. This bay is particularly fascinating in the late afternoon when the sun is setting and the light is great, especially as you can then most likely enjoy the bay alone (maybe not anymore - so another mixed tip!).
