One of the most beautiful Styrian Renaissance castles in a three-storey rectangular shape with arcaded courtyard, corner towers and clock tower turret. Built around 1585 by Baron von Teufenbach. The castle houses a collection of weapons and documents. Formerly the seat of the Barons of Thannhausen, from 1806 to 1850 the administrative center of the district of Weiz, now owned by the Barons of Gudenus. In the east wing is the chapel built in 1606 with a remarkable altarpiece (first quarter of the 17th century).
