    A small ski resort in the Atlas mountains with 4 chairlifts. The season here runs late so best to go from February onward to ensure snow. There are a few options here for mostly local accommodation in guest houses and also one of Moroccos 4 refuges. There are plenty of stalls serving up hot tagine but bring lots of layers as most eating options are outdoors. There are also plenty of options if you want to ski tour.

    The village is also a good option for a stop off on a biking or hiking trip as you have the opportunity to restock supplies. From here there are 3 passes you can cross to access different valleys and also a road leading out.
