The Naviglio Pavese cycle path is a cycle/pedestrian path that runs for about 35 km, connecting Milan to the municipality of Pavia. The route follows the bank of the Naviglio Pavese, an artificial canal built in the 16th century for the transport of goods.
The cycle path offers a beautiful landscape, with views of the fields, villages and ancient locks along the canal. It is very popular with both cyclists and pedestrians, being completely separated from vehicular traffic.
