Hiking
The old bridge was destroyed by the explosion of 1947. Instead they made a silly wooden walkway to cross from one side to the other. But under it you can still see the 12 original pillars of the Roman Bridge. Many of them vandalized.
If you are sensitive to history, I recommend that you get off the walkway and walk under it, and walk around the pillars, and climb onto the central ones, higher than the others. It was one of the most important bridges in ancient Complutum. Enjoy these ruins of the Roman bridge that few people visit.
