Ell Castellet (1049 m.) is the last spur of the Sierra de la Serrella at its eastern end, just before the pass that separates it from the Sierra de la Xortà, known as Portet de Castells.
Castell de la Serrella is an ancient fortress of Muslim origin (9th-10th centuries) in charge of guarding the old communication route between the Valle de Guadalest and that of Castell de Castells. This is a place with a high heritage value, within a protected area. In addition to having excellent views of both valleys.
