Perched village of Drôme Provençale, classified among the "most beautiful villages in France", La Garde-Adhémar is appreciated for the beauty of its places, its breathtaking view of the Rhône Valley and its remarkable "Jardin des Herbes". Built in the 12th century, the Saint Michel church is a beautiful jewel of Provençal Romanesque art. Listed as a Historic Monument, it was restored in the middle of the 19th century. It houses a wooden Madonna and Child dating from the 12th century.
