Hiking
This remote fortified monastery with a restored church, spring and picnic shelter is mainly worth visiting for the lush, quiet valley it sits in.

Hiking
Beautiful easy tour from the VL Guesthouse through beautiful landscape with great views into the valley and onto the plateau of Sanahin. The monastery is located very beautifully and is surrounded by several picnic spots (unfortunately the trash had not been collected yet...).
