Road cycling

Section is actually equipped with good asphalt throughout. In between you have to really press the pedals, there are relatively steep sections. But that is also rewarded with a nice descent. Just be careful, it is a popular cycling route.

Road cycling

As other commenters say, it's a fine surface (so I recommended it) but not especially picturesque. My advice is to either go wider around the Airport via the villages or to plan this out before you ride because it's not always obvious which way you should ride. I found any destination that was not the Airport not well signposted for cyclists. The frequent changes in direction can be confusing. The railway and Autobahn are barriers to crossing and don't have parallel cycle paths so you might end up having to go around quite a distance.
