The wine press was once part of the manor and dates from before 1580. It was sold to the municipality by the royal finance chamber in 1834. A screw press was purchased in 1868 and a hydraulic press in 1927. In 1952 the Höpfigheim cooperative for gardeners was founded and the installation of devices for de grape picking took place in autumn.
