The nature reserve called "Olsy Płoszyckie" established in 1997 is located in the Płoszyce forest district. It is a partial reserve - forest. The area of the reserve is 140.86 ha. The purpose of creating the reserve is to protect the well-preserved complex of alder forests located in the Rozoga River valley. It is a kind of "refuge" of alders among the dominant pine forests. Its area is a place where many species of plants and animals, including 49 species of birds, occur.
