The "Olsy Płoszyckie" reserve was established in 1997 by the order of the Minister of Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry of 25 July 1997. The owner of the Olsy Płoszyckie Reserve Protection Plan is the Ostrołęka Forest District, which was developed at the National Foundation for Environmental Protection in Warsaw. An educational trail has been designated and marked near the reserve, available for educational purposes. Every year, students from nearby and distant schools use the educational trail. During the lessons, fun and sports games and bonfires are held in the parking lot. The educational trail is publicly available, and the parking lot serves a recreational and leisure function.
