The Church of San Leonardo is located in the heart of Correzzola, a few steps from the Benedictine Court. It is said to have been built around the year 1130; there is a sure testimony of its existence dated 1297, thanks to a papal tithe, which certifies its dependence on the parish church of Bovolenta.

Bishop Pietro Barozzi also spoke about the Church of San Leonardo in 1489, describing it as a building 10 meters long and 7 meters wide, and explained that the church was dedicated to the celebrations of the members of the order.

It was completely rebuilt by the Benedictine Monks in 1521.

In 1909 the bell tower was also rebuilt, because the instability put the artistic works contained in the church in danger.

The current bell tower dates back to 1909 and was rebuilt because the previous bell tower was endangering a fresco attributed to Giambellino.

In the presbytery inside the building you can admire the fresco by the Paduan artist Gerolamo Tessari: the fresco depicts the Madonna and Child and Saints Leonardo di Noblac and Prosdocimo, who was protobishop of Padua and was represented holding the jug of holy water with which he baptized Saint Justina.
