St-Laurent is a Roman Catholic church in the Lorraine municipality of Spicheren, near the German-French border.
The church, dedicated to Saint Lawrence of Rome, was built in 1830. Previously, there was a chapel on the site, which had become too small. In 1850, an organ by the organ builder Haerpfer & Erman from Boulay was installed. In the Battle of Spicheren on August 6, 1870, the church served as a hospital for French soldiers.[1] The modern windows date from the 1960s.
