Angeren is a village in the Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. The village is located in the Betuwe region and falls under the municipality of Lingewaard. The place is located on the rivers the Nederrijn and the Linge, in the lowlands between the cities of Arnhem and Nijmegen.

From a physical-geographical point of view, Angeren is located entirely in the Over-Betuwse river landscape of the river area. The territory of the place contains relatively many ebb and polder fields. In the east of Angeren there are floodplains of the Lower Rhine; these are part of the cross-border Natura 2000 area Gelderse Poort. The Angeren floodplains contain several characteristic ecotopes of Dutch river nature, including softwood riparian forests, gullies, tile holes and river beaches.
The lichen parasite Polycoccum pulvinatum occurs in the cemetery next to the Sint-Bavo Church. The species is very rare in the Netherlands.
