While passing through Kosierzewo, I accidentally noticed the symbol of an aircraft lighthouse on an old pre-war map. Usually they no longer exist, but I was surprised when I saw that this one had been preserved!
This lighthouse is part of the Berlin-Königsberg navigation air route opened in 1926.

The first night flight to Königsberg after the construction of the lighthouse system took place on May 1, 1926. A Junkers G24 passenger plane took off from the Berlin-Tempelhof airport, with six passengers on board, apart from the crew.
In 1926, thanks to the use of light lanterns, Deutsche Lufthansa AG launched night flights on the Berlin-Königsberg route, which ran through Słupsk, the Free City of Gdańsk and Elbląg.
