In the middle of the old town of Girona and located at the highest point of the city, is the Cathedral of Santa María de Girona. A unique architectural monument that boasts the widest Gothic nave in the world. Its construction began in the 11th century in Romanesque style, but it was not completed until the 13th century, which is why the Gothic-style architecture also stands out.
