At an altitude of 2,000 meters a little off the slopes on the valley run from Spielboden to Saas-Fee. The glacier grotto is the last mountain restaurant before Alpendorf. Typical Valais specialties from dried meat platters to rösti with ham and fried eggs to cheese fondue variants and grottu skewers, various salads, apple strudel, fruit cake, cream slices. Snow bar with raclette from the oven and bratwurst from the grill. Fantastic view, right on the ski slope and easily accessible for winter hikers.
