The Old Mill was built on the remains of a medieval arched bridge. The bridge dates back to the 12th century, but the mill was added in the 16th century. It is the last remaining remnant of the ancient mills built on bridges in the region. This one served as a subject for the famous Impressionist painter Claude Monet.
