The church was built in 1852 from field stone and bricks. Inside there is a commemorative plaque of the owners of the estate in Wieleń - Ludwig and Herrmann von Wedel, made of white marble at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The windows feature stained glass with religious depictions and floral motifs, made in 1884. The church is surrounded by the remains of a former cemetery.
