European Route: The section along the Mühlenbach was probably part of the Euroga Route of the most beautiful gardens on the Lower Rhine in 2002/2003. Today this section is reserved for pedestrians.

Nonsensical and unhelpful for today's cyclists that the cycle route is still signposted above the pedestrian sign, while other cycle paths follow a short bypass over the "Eltweg" road.

As a bike-friendly city, Krefeld always manages to make us cyclists shake our heads in disbelief ;-)
