At 645 m above sea level, the Jochgrabenberg is the highest point in the municipality of Pressbaum in Lower Austria. The easternmost section of the main Alpine ridge runs over the summit. In 1891, the 18-meter-high Wienerwaldwarte was built on the summit by the Austrian Tourist Club and officially opened on October 11, 1891. It existed until around the middle of the 20th century. Since then, the Jochgrabenberg transmitter has been located on the summit, which is connected to the Kahlenberg transmitter.
