A bay, which can be reached in 5 minutes from the parking lot. You can not go to the beach for the most part, as there is a rare species of penguin - the Yellow Eyed Pinguins. If you're lucky you can watch them here too, but keep quiet.
As of January 2019 there live 7 pairs of the species there.

Penguins breed in Roaring Bay, so there is an observation hut. As soon as penguins are on the beach, entry is prohibited to protect the animals.
