Castle Hill is a hill at an altitude of 920 m in the center of New Zealand's South Island. The area is part of the Kura Tāwhiti Conservation Area.

You should at least do the short tour of the Castle Hills if you are short on time. A magnificent collection of limestone blocks in bizarre shapes, formed by wind and weather over millions of years, stands in the area.

The circular path through the limestone blocks is very well prepared and can be reached from the car park in just a few minutes. The information boards along the way provide information about the nature, history and legends of this wonderful place. In addition to the beautiful natural experience, it is a welcome change for all travelers.
