This section of the D608 deserves the predicate "highlight". The perfect track meanders through canyons and creeks in a rather short-wave, often reminiscent of camel humps. Sometimes it's time to push on the steep slopes.
I really enjoyed the three days from Grünau to Keetmanshoop via D607 / 608. Scenic very varied, almost car-free and on the way enough pistenne near water tank for refueling. The track is (2019) in perfect condition, smooth and hard as tar. Very worthwhile!
