Originally the little church was called "Little St. Antoni Chapel"; it was built in 1731 instead of a wooden chapel built in 1676. On the altar there is an Altötting Mother of God, embedded in the inner wall, a roof tile with an inscription about the construction time and patronage. The inscription "P. 1731. N / M. ST. P." to recognize.

A bronze bell hangs in the turret, marked 1670; it was left in the Rauscheckerhof in 1945 by American soldiers and given to the Marienkapelle by the local farmer.
